Donation Steps

Check all items at home in bright light for imperfections 

prior to bringing items in (& fold/lay flat clothing)

Carry in up to 2 clean grocery bags, bins, or boxes of non-clothing OR 

2 clean grocery bags, laundry baskets, or clear bins of clothing

 (no garbage bags)

Shop in our store while we check items over

After shopping, pick up any items not accepted & 

write down name to receive rewards points

(most points are rewarded within 1 month of donating)

Items must be in like-new condition 

(free of pet hair, stains/spots, discoloration/yellowing, damage/cracks, 

wear, missing pieces, smokey/musty odor, etc.)

If more than a few items have issues all items will be returned 

to be re-checked or donated elsewhere

Donations are accepted most weekdays (until full)

Rewards members receive rewards points for donations

(rewards points are rewarded when we put out the item 

or put the item in storage to put out at a later date)

Item Categories We Do Not Accept: Rugs & carpeting, used bedding, used socks & underwear, lingerie, vintage clothing, drinking glasses, large appliances, small appliances with interior stains, exercise equipment (except dumbbell sets & mats), furniture (very small furniture may be OK), light fixtures, watches & bracelets, old/large TVs, DVD TV series, R-rated movies, VHS/cassettes, PC games, video games without a console, kids/health/self-help/DIY/biographies/other books, magazines, non-family friendly items, older electronics & cables, phone accessories, car seats/baby bouncers/high chairs/most other baby equipment, most pre-owned medical & health-related items, power tools, auto parts, brooms/vacuums/mops, construction material, used cosmetics, paint & chemicals, inflatable items, items that cannot be easily tested, items that require assembly

Issues To Look Out For: Pet hair, damage, stains, yellowing, deodorant marks, noticeable wear, pilling, snags, puckering, missing stitches, missing pieces, discoloration/fading/dark spots, paint marks, dirt, crumbs, bugs, loose glitter, dust, rust/corrosion, water/mold, sticky residue, bad elastic, garage sale/thrift/library tags, odor/smoke/mothball/strong detergent smell, shrinkage, random logos, etc.
